Growing up in New York's Brooklyn and the Bronx I experienced a fine education and exposure to the culture of New York City. I have three very fine children and three wonderful grandchildren. I have been a teacher, counselor, magazine editor/writer, program manager for the State of New Jersey in the areas of women's issues, including childcare, disabilities, gender equity, and violence prevention. I was Special Projects and Disability Officer for AmeriCorps in New Jersey. Now I write books, short stories and poetry for 'tweens, teens, and adults
